buon giorno!
sorry i didnt write yesterday, we were super busy and we didnt have time, and so, thats why im writing right now. Anyways, this last week was sweet! We had zone leader council at the end of last week and it went really well. We talked about a lot of good stuff for the mission, and we also got a really nice surprise. Next thursday, Elder Texiera from the 70 is coming to do another tour here in our mission. so that will be sweet. Im really excited b/c we'll have the Napoli and Sardegna zones come up to Rome for it. then nothing too interersting happened last week, but, on monday, after District meeting, my companion had the idea of going to a chinese restaurant to eat, and it was a buffet, so, we went with the sisters and ate a ton of food, but, i didnt really like it, so i just ate a lot of gelato. I also had the wonderful experience of eating a snail. I figured, i've never done it, and so, i ate it, and it was really gross as you could imagine. We also managed toset a baptismal date with one of our Filipino investigators, and he's a stud! His family is back in the Filipines and he agreed to be baptised. It's great, there are a ton of people from the Filipines here in rome, and they're so great to talk with. I'm also learning Tagolog, their langauge. I now know how to say a grand total of 2 words. I can say you're beautiful and you're handsome. So that's basically how i start my conversations with the filipinos. Its awesome!
then yesterday for our P-day, we went to Ostia Antica. Its basically just a really old and ancient part of rome, and it was pretty cool.
Last bit of news, our most progressing investigator Giacamo is doing awesome. Today he called us up and he told us he wanted to meet,so, we met up and we talked for a bit, and he got adeal with MTV to do somthing for them, so, he's really excited about that, and he really loves the church, he fells like this is the true church if Christ, and he'll definitely get baptized in the next month or 2. it stunk becasue this week it snowed again and barely anyone came tpo church again, unforunately. A lot of other stuff happened too this week, but, i dont feel like writing much more, but, it was great.
I Love you! Have a sweet rest of the week!
