alright, we had a nice week here in Crotone, the work is still going slow but, in a short little while it will be moving where we want it to. So, we had zone conference yesterday so on Monday i met up with the other Zone Leader for my zone (Anziano Packer) and it was sweet! we got a train to Taranto, then to Bari, and the reason why it was so awsome was becasue we found some sweet people, n the first train, we found 2 Africans who live in Foggia, they want to meet with the missionaries and they're great. Then, on the next train, we found a really cool family, a mother, her 4 daughters and her 15 year old neice (who's basicaly her daughter b/c the father of this girl died and now she lives with them) Anyways, thy're great, they want to meet with us and they want the BOM and they're super prepared, but, they live in Austria, b/c the father works there. They're so awesome and i just sent the referal to the mission office, so tehy should hear from the missionaries in a few days. Other than that, Zone conference was great, it was fun working with anziano PAcker again. After the conference, th anziani in foggia told me big news, that Pina is getting baptized on sunday and our other investigators are doing great as well.

okay, that's just about it. Not much too exciting happened this week, but, we're working really hard and we expect to see miracles this week. I love is work and im excited to continue doing it here in Crotone.

sorry for the short letter, but, i gotta go, Love you guys!

wow, if the subject heading didnt give it away, i dont know what will, so, i'll just explain...
I've been praying my heart out the last few weeks for new investigators because we have no one to teach, literally no investigators, so, we hit the streets of Crotone and we worked. Anyways, Saturday, we went looking for a referral, it took an hour to get out there by foot and we couldnt find the house, its like it didnt exist, the street was right, but, the number didnt exist, so, we spent a few hours trying to find the house, and after 3 hours of being in the heat, we passed by a nice little family that gave us a 2 liter bottle of water because they saw us dying, almost, and they were nice, then we continued our search and we found a mailbox with the name of the referral, but, it turns out that it wasnt the right person, however, we did a little bit of finding in that area and we found a lady who told us to come back in a few days, so, we returned on monday, but, before i get to that appointment...
sunday, we decided to do something called mostra, in english its probably like a display, im not sure, but we have a few big posters that talk about the church, and we set it up on the streets and we just started talking to everyone, it was weird, it was that first time i've ever done that type of finding, it was weird though, i was talking to one guy, who met with misisonaries a few years ago and we talked about a lot of stuff, anyways he said, wow, you're right, i want you to baptize me. Then i tried to set up an appointment but, he told me not to worry, but that he would come to find us in church one day, and he did, he went when we were not there, and he told the australian couple that he wanted Anziano Lan to baptize him on Thursday, but they told him that wouldnt be possible because he obviously needs to come to church and be taught, but, maybe we'll see him sometime, we still haven't gotten his info though.
so back to the appointment on monday, we went and we taught this family, the parents, their 20 year old daughter, and 5 year old son, there's another son, but, he wasnt there. We taught them about the church and they're great, we'll go back to see them tonight, then yesterday, we found 2 more investigators and we think they've got a lot of potenital, im excited to start teaching again.

thats just about it, im tired and we still have a lot of work to do, but the Lord will provide for us. i better get going, have a great week guys love you all,

Well, i just left one of the ugliest cities in italy to oneof the most beautiful. Not to mention, we live on the highest hill in the city, so, we've got a pretty sweet view of the city as you can see from the pics, its absolutely incredible, its a good thing that we dont live on the beach though, it's not a good place. It's a temptation sometimes because Crotone's supposed to have a really nice beach and we cant really go to it because its populated with immodesty. However, we went to the port today and we got to see some nice scenary.

Well, I was a little bummbed out to get to this city and see the work situation where it's at. We really dont have any investigators and ever since i've been here, we've been doing a ton of finding work. I love our members though, it was an immediate connection with them. It's a branch of about 8 active old ladies and 2 priesthood holders. We also are really fortunate because we have a senoir couple here, they're from Australia and they're cool. We're doing email from their appartment because the internet in church doesnt work. But, its a nice small branch and i told them on sunday that they would see some miracles here in Crotone in the next few months, so, i better prove it. I'm excited.

Anyways, on monday we had to stay home and clean all day (its a mission-wide thing we do twice a year) so, now its nice and clean. Other than that, not much to say, It's really hot here and i've been sleeping really good lately(becuase im beat with all the work we've been doing) but, its a good thing, i know the Lord will bless us, and i sure as heck wouldn't have been called to serve here if there weren't people ready for baptism, i know they're here, and we'll find them. I have no doubt. So, no investigators now, but, we'll see how things end up at the end of this week and i'll update you guys next week. Love you all and i hope you're all doing well!

oh one more thing, how much time does jackson have left? he's gotta be almost done.
