Well, dad told me about a month ago when things here in Terni were not going to well, that things would turn around. That as long as you're doing your part that things will improve... well...This transfer we've seen some miracles, God just keeps showing his hand in this work. As of right now, we have 2 investigators that are going to be baptised in february, 2 that want to get baptised but dont have dates yet, and 2 that have agreed to the baptism. Wow, things couldnt be any better, then on saturday night, President Kelly gave me a call.... Im getting transferred. Its a city called Foggia, im really excited, obviously i wont be able to see these people get baptised, but, as long as they get baptised and stay srtong, thats all that matters. Anyways, Foggia, its pretty much the city that Padre Pio was doing his stuff in. So, from what ive heard, its going to be tough. But, one thing that i've focused on lately is that God doesnt call missionaries to cities that dont have people that are ready for the gospel. I know that God has called me to serve there at this time because there are people who are waiting and who are ready for the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ. So, im going to Foggia, and the ward there will grow.
Anyways, i had a pretty sweet week this week. We were able to go to Pescara, and hang out with the missionaries in our district there and we played football and rugby, man, rugby is an incredibly fun sport that night we chilled together and we ate some arrostaccini, the best food i've ever eaten, its like small pieces of meat on a stick, we (6 missionaries) ate 5 kilos of it.. Thenwe had district meeting on Thursday and went back to Terni. when we got to terni, we opened our door and a man was there working in our house. Hes a member from taranto and hes just gunna be fixing the house for a while and the worst part of it is he's living with us and he eats our food uses our toilet, haha, no im just kidding, hes a good guy. And then i got my transfer call to Foggia, im going to have a blast there and it will be incredible! Then we were able to fix some baptisimal dates and sunday i had to say my goobyes to the beautiful people in my branch here in Terni. Then monday we had a few more appoinmtments and it was awesome. We also saw a flyer for football (american) so koozer called the number (he being a huge football star in highschool, he actually had the opportunity to start in the all amerian footbal game before the superbow in highschool but it was on sunday, so he didnt play. He got a full-ride to ASU or ASwho and played there for a year, so a stud at the sport) Anyways, hwe called the number and the professional footbal team wanted us to show them how to play football. So for service today, we went out and showed them some drills and techniques. They're honetly horrible. Its an embarassement, professional italian football is terrible. So we went and they want us to play for there team but we cant bc were misisonaries and we're not allowed to tackle. It was fun, we got to wear the pads and helmet, but we didnt do any tackling, just kindve showed them how/what to do. (i wish i could've tackled some of those guys though... nah, i love them all, really good guys) And tonght i go to Rome and take my train in the morning to foggia and koozer picks up his greeny (maybe anziano nelson, dont know yet) Well, gotta go, love you all
