We have had some rough weather this week, rain, and wind, and its been really cold. A few things that i'm not really used to is getting soaken wet by cars purposely driving in huge puddles to get the missionaries and the teenagers swearing at us in english, but, before i act, i look down at my nameage and i see who i am and who i represent. I cant tell you how tough it is sometimes to just keep the cool, but if i didnt, i would be falling right into the death trap of the evil one. Then i look at the life of our Savior and his sacrifice. My sufferings cannot possibly compare to those that He took upon himself, suffering the pains of everyone. But, getting wet and yelled at is a part of the calling, so, i gotta learn to love it. Me and Anziano Packer have done a lot of tùwork this week and we unfortunately hit a bump in the road wiht 2 of our investigators, Anna and Caterina. Its amazing how much power Satan has, he does so much, and puts so many obsticles in the way of those who are about to make the greatest step in their lives. But its even more amazing how little power Satan has compared to God. With every baptism, Satan does try, but for those who put theri trust in God, he will lessen the burdens and help you overcome anything.. anything. So, sure, we've been slowed down a little bit, but, i have complete faith in the Lord that he will provide a way.
Well, not much out of the ordinary occured this week, we had out zone conference and i got to see Anziano Urry, my companion from the MTC and also the missionaries in the groups above and below me. The numbers for the mission in 2010 were 140 baptisms for the mission of Rome. Even though this number is an increase from the years past, President is all for improvement, and i have complete faith that as missionaries fo their part, we will reach our goal of 240 baptisms for the year of 2011. President also said that in July of this year, exactly a year from when he came to italy, only 30 percent of the missionaries that were in the mission then, will still be here. So a ton of new missionaries, and a group of 10 new missionaries is coming in this april, and 20 in may, so a lot of new ones. Greenie faith is the greatest, this mission is going to explode, and our mission vision, "Fill the Rome temple with Gods children", will be accompished. Well, im about out of time, ciao
