Dear Brother and Sister Lane,

Thank you for your email. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Elder Lane's uncle. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

I appreciate you making me aware of this very hard situation that your son is dealing with. I will give him a call today during his lunch hour.

Elder Lane is truly an outstanding missionary -- one of our very best. We are so grateful to have him here in the Italy Rome Mission. We love him and you can be very proud of the service he is rendering here.
