June 29, 2011

This past week was really good. Charles and his family got baptized. They're incredible, so strong. Foggia has just had so much sucess this year, in fact, Foggia is at the top of the mission. God really is blessing us. It was really cool, this week we were able to eat some Afican food. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it was good, the texture was really weird though.

Pina didnt come to the baptism though, she also didnt come to church. So, she called me on sunday and i was a little irritated with her, i didnt say anything mean to her, but, she felt that my attitude changed a little bit, because it did. I was not to happy that hadn't shown up for her baptism twice now. Anyways, that evening, we met with her and we talked about this. She didnt want to talk to me, but, i spoke to her and i asked some questions and we worked out the problem. She basically said that she only has a small testimony and she wants a big one before she's baptized. I just told her that its like a cake, we have a big cake, but we only need one small peice to know if its good. She agreed, then i shared the example in Alma 32 with the seed, that with time it will grow. It ended very well, we fixed a new baptisimal date for the 15 of july, i think she'll be ready then.

also, we got our transfer calls and God doesnt want me to leave Foggia yet. I'll stay at least another 6 weeks with Anziano Gibson. Also, I'm going to be one of the zone leaders here for the Bari Zone, im looking forward to it. Its going to be really cool helping out the missionaries in my zone. So, on monday, in our district meeting, i got to teach the lesson on obedience and love for the people, because those are 2 of the most important attributes that we can have in this work.

thats about it for the week, me and my companion have some issues we need to discuss, and im hoping it will end well.

im looking forward to my 5th transfer in Foggia
